Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Content Writer with at least 4 years of experience to join our team. As a Senior Content Writer, you will be responsible for creating high-quality and engaging content for our clients’ Amazon product listings. You will craft compelling descriptions that showcase the features of branded products that help drive sales.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with our clients to understand their work requirements and deliver the content as per their expected quality, within the given time frame, and in the requested delivery format.
- Understand product offerings and research the websites and product briefs to grasp the benefit of the product to write knowledgeable content.
- Research the marketplace to understand the competition and the latest trend being followed in the product category.
- Use the keyword research tools like Helium 10 to extract the keywords.
- Create/optimize the content with the researched keywords to enhance the SEO friendliness of the content.
- Follow the marketplace/Amazon guidelines while creating the content.
- Use tools like Grammarly and Scribbles to enhance the quality of content and deliver it efficiently.
- Proofread your own/team’s content before sharing it with clients.
- Seek feedback from clients on the work quality and implement the feedback to improve the same.
- Train junior content writers to follow the best practices and SOPs required for work delivery.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in English, journalism, marketing, or a related field.
- At least 4 years of experience as a content writer, with a focus on creating product descriptions for e-commerce platforms.
- Exceptional writing and editing skills, with a strong attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to write clear, concise, and persuasive copy that drives conversions.
- Experience using Amazon Seller Central and other e-commerce platforms to create product listings.
- Strong research skills and ability to analyze data to identify trends and opportunities.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of tools like Helium 10, Google Sheets, Click Up, and Grammarly is a plus.
